I was very excited to try this kit but have been very disappointed with results. Plants do not have the healthy "green" that I've always experienced before. The nutrients were swimming in water and the kit container actually shows where it leaked thru the cardboard. It seems like I was sent an outdated packet.

All the herbs are growing beautifully, except the sage, but I just called customer service and they are sending me a new pod right away. Now that's fantastic service! I'm really pleased that such a great variety of herbs is offered and I'm getting to try new ones

I really like my Aerogarden 6-pod device. However, I REALLY liked the 7-pod seed mixes, so I wrote to Aerogarden and asked if I could use the pods for a 7-pod garden in my 6-pod garden. I figured that I wouldn't mind just choosing one of the pods to leave out.
I received a message explicitly stating that it would be fine to use the pods designed for a 7-pod garden, but reminding me that the garden would not hold 7 pods (not a surprise). So I went ahead and ordered two different 7-pod mixes.
When the kits arrived, I was distressed to see that the pods are NOT interchangeable, and I'm not at all sure that my new pods will grow in my 6-pod garden.
Providing inaccurate information is a very bad way to treat loyal customers, and I encourage Aerogarden to do a better job of training the staff who are fielding customer questions.
The 3- and 6-Pod AeroGarden models and the 7-Pod AeroGarden models have very different Seed Pods because they have very different water-delivery systems.
7-Pod AeroGardens have a pump which circulates oxygen-rich water up through the seed pods and over the roots of the plants, and their Seed Pods are about an 1 1/2 inches long. Because the Pump is circulating water up and over through the Grow sponges, the pods do not have to reach down into the water in the Bowl.
3- and 6-Pod AeroGardens have an aerator to oxygenate the water, and their Seed Pods are about 3 1/4 inches long so that they reach down into the water in the Bowl, allowing them to draw water up through the Grow Sponge into the roots of the young plants.

We started the French Herb kit after being very satisfied with the standard herb package. Within 3 days of starting the new kit we started seeing shoots popping up. The parsley was the last to germinate but only trailed behind by a week. We haven't had a chance to use the herbs as they are still in their infant stages but the aroma from each of the herbs is delectible.

Really lovely new tastes. The chervil and sorrel were especially good - wish they offered these in the 'make your own blend' seed kits. I'd be buying them like crazy. Threw a handfull into all my stews/soups & the taste was wonderful.

I love the variety this seed pack gives you. Its my third seed pack and by far has the herbs I use most often. Only con is that, as usual, the basil grows insanely fast but all the other herbs are still very tiny and its been a few weeks.

Wanting to try new herbs, this french collection fits the bill. Wonderful in salads and as garnish. The hardest part is waiting 4 weeks to harvest. All herbs are lush and healthy with no work on my part.

This "system" is by far, one of the best designed and thought-out hydroponic devices ever put on the consumer market. READ the book, FOLLOW directions and you will NOT be disappointed! The company provides a wide variety of seed pods so, there's bound to be something to suit your taste. I give it five stars: Creativity, excellence in design and fabrication, ease of operation and low maintenance. Bravo AeroGarden, keep up the good work.

We have used several of the seed kits and have never gotten the chives to grow - any suggestions?

LOVE THE AEROGARDEN! Have 2 of them and have even transferred some of the seed pods to pots on my back porch. Was not as impressed with the French Herb Kit as others (took to long to grow and was scarce).

Have not tasted yet, but the only complaint is that the sage has not started to grow yet. All others are doing fine. Will start looking for recipes to use them.

This product started growing within days. It was simple to set up and easy to maintain. I love having fresh, clean herbs at my finger tips. So much easier then going to the grocery store and having to clean them before cooking.
