I love greens anyway, and these are great. The leaves are very tender (but not mushy), and you can use the entire plant without "zipping" out the center stalk. Great raw, or lightly steamed. My favorite recipe is "Loose Cannon", a quickie version of Colcannon. Roughly dice a potato or two (Leave the peel on. Yukon golds or red-skinned are best) and steam or microwave it for about five minutes until fork tender. Chop up a good handful of the baby greens and add to the potatoes. Steam/mike for 30 seconds or so until just wilted. Toss with salt, pepper and butter, and nosh like crazy. Very tasty and ridiculously nutritious.

I love having growing things in the house! They look healthy and then I get to reach over pluck some tender leaves and put them in a salad or garnish a cool summer meal. Arogarden is very nice addition to healthy family life.

I've only had these for a month, but they seem to be growing quickly. I havn't had a chance to harvest yet.
