I love this item. This tray has made a radical change in the way I garden. I was never able to successfully start seeds indoors until I bought this. Last year, I almost everything - alpine strawberries; cabbage; broccoli; eggplant; peppers; tomatoes and more - in this tray. Out of 140 plants, maybe 8 plants did't transplant well. I'm now using the tray to start some seeds for my greenhouse and rooting come cuttings as well. Initially, I was disappointed that it was made from styrfoam, but my husband assured me it was a heavy duty styrofoam that would last if I took care of it. I plan to take good care of it. This is a great tool!

Don't start your seeds as early as you would normally. I found my seedlings growing so fast I had to transplant and lost some because weather was
too cold. This year, I am buying larger transplant
pots to handle this "problem". Be sure to buy refills, as you can start one batch of slow growers, transplant, and then grow another batch of
faster growers like annuals and lettuce.
