So much better than having to make your own tie-downs" or "stake ups". Just clip one on, pull the srtring, and wrap it around the most strategic place on the plant.

The first time I tried to grow tomatoes, I didn't have these so I tried using string--a nightmare. I'm growing tomatoes for the 2nd time and I LOVE these. They are easy to install and use. As the plants get bigger, they automatically adjust.

I ordered an extra set of the coil trellises besides the ones that came with my VeggiePro.
They are so handy for holding the heavy branches of my tomato plants.
This is the greatest invention yet!

My Wife and I really enjoy our two Aerogrow Gardens. We wish not to trim our tomato branches that are flowering, so we purchased additional Trellis Systems to support the heaver branches. The Trellis work very well for this. A Warning: Take care when trimming the branches not to also trim the Trellis cord. I've managed to repair two of ours so far which is not to easy to do.

Simple idea that works well.

The trellis coil is a clever idea.
I first I saw these coils was at a company that gave me one for my ID badge.

They work well. But sometimes the soft ties are still needed on my large tomatoes to keep them from swaying or twisting as the weight of the plant changes.

We purchased 2 Aerogardens for my Dad, who is retired and an avid gardener. Now he can garden all year long. The trellis kit does not fit the older model, but handy dandy Dad put together a frame and attached the trellis system to it. Now the tomatoes are growing straight and strong. The trellis kit is adaptable, which makes it another great tool for AeroGardeners. Thanks!
