I originally purchased the herb and serve because I just thought it was a good deal and would be something fun to try. To my surprise and delight, this small appliance does wonders and is so easy to use with your fresh herbs from your AeroGarden. The first thing I made was the basil vinaigrette. Voila! Instant delicious dressing. I immediately went back online and purchased 5 more to give away as Christmas presents. Every kitchen should have one of these even if you don't own an AeroGarden!

It says not to use rechargeable batteries, but I'm having no problem with them (Energizer). It takes 6 batteries! Fairly powerful, though it does not mix the basil as much as I'd prefer. Also does a nice job with mixing powder (e.g., protein shakes) to be poured over ice. Won't crush or mix ice to any extent. Nice size and pour feature for dressings and single-serve drinks.

This is a great mixer for dressings and marinades. It doesn't chop the ingredients up like I expected, so cut herbs, garlic, etc. as fine as you want it to be. Great for storing and serving!

I have only had the opportunity to use my Herb'n Serve once so far. I made a marinade for a cornish game hen. I used cider vinegar; basil, marjoram, & dill (from my aerogarden); oil; salt; and pepper. I am actually cooking the hen in a crockpot as we speak and it smells delicious!

The greatest thing about the Herb'n Serve is that you can choose which herbs, oils, and vinegars (or juice or wine) suit your purposes best without having to buy large quantities from the grocery store that end up going to waste. The herbs chop well and the markings on the side of the carafe make it simple to use.

I would have liked it to have the option of plugging it in or using batteries, because I know I'm going to use it a lot and the batteries will run down quickly. For 6 batteries at a time, that can get expensive in the long run. (Good thing I shop at a membership store and can buy them in large quantites for less.)

Overall, the Herb'n Serve is a healthy alternative that is quick and simple to use and is easy on the budget.

I thought this would be kind of a silly purchase, but you can't go wrong for the price. Turns out, I'm using it all the time! It's great to be able to make whatever dressing I want whenever I want it. I don't have to have a bunch of different bottles in the fridge.

Before getting this I'd make my own dressings and marinades now and then. Using the blender or food processor, or chopping by hand and whisking in a bowl meant a lot of clean up. Now I refuse to waste money on store bought. I always have the ingredients on hand anyway, so I just make dressing and marinade on the fly. Then I pop the Herb 'n Serve (minus the base, or course) into the dishwasher.

This was a great way for me to use my herbs more. It was easy to use the fill lines so the mixture of oil and vinegar were correct. I liked the booklet that was included with recipe ideas. I love gadgets! This one is easy and fun to use and doesn't take up valuable real estate on my small kitchen counter.

I took it right out of the box and experimented with a recipe a friend gave me for a dressing. It was much easier to use than the mortar and pestle for grinding the sugar into the garlic paste, and the flavor was not compromised.

The spouts allow for a more controlled flow than a dressing bottle would. While I liked the booklet that had recipes for dressings and marinades, I will experiment with my own since most of these contain ingredients that I am either allergic to or have an intolerance to, but they are great guidelines for balancing the ingredients.

I like to take salads to work for lunch and this is an easy way to take along healthy dressing. It would be nice to have it made out of a heavier plastic or even glass. It's a little difficult to clean the oil off the plastics.

This product is amazing. This product has a powerful cutting blade that also stirs the dressing. It not only works great with herbs, but mixes other dressing recipes as well. The dressing container detaches from the power base and can go straight into the refrigerator. If there is a con it would be that it uses six AA batteries. In its defense, it probably needs that power to chop the herbs, and it does that job to perfection.

I use this product all the time. I just wish I had a 2nd carafe! I often want to make a viniagrette and a marinade or two marinades at the same time, and not having to transfer to another container and wash it would make a great product even better. My only complaints are the batteries don't last very long, and the blade could be sharper.
