Unfortunately the bulbs are NOT universal and did not fit my 3 pod garden. I had to send them back but was delighted when the correct bulbs arrived. Planted herbs and sprouts were visable in 5 days. Major convienent to pick fresh.

These bulbs are great. I have my AeroGarden Deluxe in my bedroom, and when these lights come on, I do not even need to turn on my lamp because the bulbs from the AeroGarden are good enough to use a light for my room when it's night time so thats an added benefit to me, saving a little electricity! lol
Not too mention that my plant's are growing faster then I imagined they would.

These Grow Bulbs really made our lettuse mix grow fast and continuously!! Once we replaced the original bulbs that came with the Aero Garden with these new ones, the lettuce grew so fast, and is still growing after harvesting a number of times. They really make the veggies & herbs grow like the pictures in the AeroGrow catalogs!

It is certainly annoying to buy new lights when the old lights still look like they are working. That said, there is noticeable improvement in the brightness and performance of fresh lights.

Product works as described. Easy plug in installation. My only problem is that even with new bulbs this unit can not seem to grow Cilantro or parsley. I was even told by an aero garden customer service person to sprout my own seeds and then plant them - still did not work. Great for Basil and Tyme

I had a bit of a time getting used to how to grow in my Aerogrows. Now I have THREE. I've found the bulbs to be very long lasting and they really do shorten grow time. I am amazed at the difference in using my Aerogrow and growing "window sill" herbs.

I just replaced the grow bulbs in my unit. The very first experiment crop was basil, now it is on to bigger and better things - tomatoes! It makes a big difference with the bulbs if you follow the manufacturer's recommendations and replace the bulbs as indicated.

I've been using since January 2010. My tomatoes are 1.5 to 2ft. tall with flowers and little tomatoes (two and half months) can't wait for bigger and red. I can almost taste them now, and the temp outside is 20 degrees and I'm anxious to get into my outside garden.

love the bulbs, they last a long time. the only flaw is that there are two kinds of sockets for the 3 loop bulb design, the prongs are different and need to make sure you purchase the right one. The model number seemed to have changed from the older version. I have 4 aerogardens and need 3 different types of bulbs.

I didn't order new bulbs for my herbs until one day the lights all went out! The plants started to whither and die. I ordered as soon as I could and the plants started to flourish. With nutrients and the new bulbs my herbs are now over one year old!

I resisted buying the replacement bulbs even though the guide recommended it - I figured the bulbs were good until they burned out. Boy was I wrong, the difference in growth of your plants with a new bulb is amazing - I didn't realize how I was wasting my money on seed kits by having old bulbs that didn't help them grow. With the new bulbs, all plants are growing strong and fast.

Indoor herb and flower gardening without soil issues is a blessing. It gives more than what it uses in space and energy. Anything bigger is outdoors. I would like a way to empty the bowl without disturbing the root systems; ei, a spigit, small pump, or retro-fitted outlet from the present pump to eliminate saturated nutrient water. Looking forward to growing tomatos.

This 3-pack of grow bulbs are a great value. My experience has been kind of a roller-coaster. The first box I received only had 1 grow bulb. I think whoever packed the box mistakenly put in 1 bulb as opposed to 1 three-pack of bulbs. That said, customer service was very helpful and polite. They shipped me a 3-pack right away without any hassle. I've just had a great experience with Aerogrow.

I thought my growing days were over before I learned that regular bulb changes make a HUGE difference in growth time and vigor. I thought the old bulbs were bright enough, until I put in the new ones. These big ones come three in a pack, and are almost twice as large as the "classic" style. (I have both sizes of Aerogarden). It's a bargain!
Don't forget, replace your bulbs every 6 months. Your plants will thank you!

When replacing old bulbs take hood off gently, mine was stuck and when I pulled to hard the hood came off and landed on the floor, breaking two of my old light bulbs.
Works great as an office space light for people (like me) with seasonal affective disorder. (The tendency to become depressed in the winter due to lack of sun light)
Bulbs lasted a long time, for herbs I used the same bulb for 9 months, tomatoes need new bulbs more frequently ( every 6 months as suggested).

The deluxe grow bulbs haven't failed me yet. They always arrive intact and always seem to work. None has ever burned out before six months, in fact, most seem to work for a year, though I normally change them out at six months for fruiting vegetables.

They are powerful enough to grow cat grass on the side of the Aerogardens.

I just received my new Veggie Pro and it is unbelievable!!! Trellis and tomatoes and I have planted my own Cucumbers and peppers. 3 days after planting, my cucumber seeds are bursting out. This is my 7th Aero-Garden and I dearly love them. I am a Senior citizen in small apartment and they are excellent. I have herbs,veggies,flowers and salad greens. I grew up on a farm and I am delighted to be able to farm again and yes, I may get another one. I got 2 for my niece in snow country when she was down about the dreary weather and now she is gardening in the winter time too. Thanks Aero Garden!!!!

I am so thankful that you sell three packs of bulbs! I own the PRO200, and have swapped out bulbs twice now. You can certainly tell when the bulbs are starting to wear down, as the plants begin to turn a lighter and lighter shade of green. The replacement of the bulbs is easy, however they do sometimes fit a bit tight. I consistently find two packs of bulbs, however since I need to replace three for mine, this package is the perfect size.

I had ordered new grow bulbs when I had noted that one was not working. I had received the bulbs but still the one bulb wouldn't light.
There was obviouly a problem with the hood. The unit had been given to me as a gift and I called Aerogrow. Within minutes, the support team had arranged to ship a new hood free of charge.
The unit works perfectly now and the fresh herbs dress up even the simplest of meals.

Don't put off changing your grow bulbs. You will be amazed at how much brighter your new bulbs will be. You just don't notice the gradual decline in brightness over time, but you will notice the sudden increase.

They give you the light you need for growing or cloning those tomatoes. Replacing those bulbs is a snap then reset your bulb timer for another 6 months. A Great buy at this price. Keep them on hand so when your Pro 200 or Deluxe Aero Garden tell's you it's time to replace those bulbs JUST DO IT.
