I've loved my Aerogarden and herb set since I first started it up 7 months ago, and the new liquid nutrients are easier to work with than the old tablets. The liquid just pours out of the pre-measured packets, while the tablets used to break up and stick inside the plastic bags. Thanks for making the Aerogarden even easier to care for than it had been.

I love all 4 of my aerogardens. I prefer the liquid nutrients to the tablets. I also noticed that herbs and flowers, also peppers, do better than tall plants like tomatoes. They wil burn from the lights.

When the light came on telling me to add more nutrients I was out and had to wait a week or so till the liquid nutrients I had ordered arrived in the mail. In just that short amount of time my plants leaves began to turn a much paler green color - especially the basil. When I got the liquid nutrients and added them I had a bunch of new leaf growth that came in a healthy vibrant green color and the plants all started growing upwards again. There was a very noticeable difference.

With two AeroGardens purchased at the same time, one for my grandson who is four years old, mine came with liquid nutrients and his with the old-fashioned tablets. The one with the liquid nutrients grew better. Also, on changing the water as recommended, we found residue from the tablets in the tank. That went in the outdoor garden and we switched to liquid nutrients for both. We want to be sure herbs get all the help they need!

I've been able to get almost 8 months (so far!) out of one pod kit by using the nutrients bi-weekly, in additon to watering and pruning my "crop". My plants responded immediately to its' dose of nutrients...and there is no sign of stopping! My herbs are lush and abundant. I recommend keeping extra nutients on hand to get the most of your plantings.

The new liquid nutrients came with a seed kit instead of the previous tablets. So far they seem to work just as well but I found it a slightly less convenient to squeeze all the liquid out of the tube instead of just dropping two tablets in the water.

I had to purchase the liquid nutrients because the tablets were on backorder. The liquid is very easy to use and my basil does very well with it. The mint is also still going strong. Oregano never grew well and the thyme has died. Chives are still alive, but not growing well. Fortunately, it is the basil that I purchased the Aerogarden for to begin with. One big drawback to the liquid is that one of the packets leaked during shipping - what a mess! If the tablets are available next time I will get tablets.

I love my Aero-Garden. However this nutrient package was confusing to me. It does not say in the description it is for the larger gardens. I have a three pod. The nutrient pkgs. are for 6 or larger.

You have to empty half the liquid from the little plastic bag, and close with a paper clip etc, saving the liquid in an upright position somewhere for two weeks till the next time to add. I am keeping my open pkgs. in a cup on the counter.

Please include this in the description. The nutrient pkg. should be appropriate for the size garden, so folks know what they are getting.

Other than that, I am delighted with AeroGardens, and show it to my friends and family.

Some of the herbs grow much better than others. The chives and dill did nothing. The basil and oregano were terrific. The mint was pretty good. The number of nutrient tablets supplied was woefully inadequate. I have used up the original nutrients supplied with the kit, plus an extender packet. My herbs are still doing well, but the nutrients are again used up. The extender tablets are very expensive, given how few are provided in a kit.

The Aerogarden does a great job of growing the herbs...and they now live for many months, thanks to the additional nutrients for my plants. My previous batch of plants were transplanted from the Aerogarden to my outside garden and they lived all summer while it was warm outside. I got an elite 6 for a Christmas gift last year and started growing in mid-January. I put it on the end of a sideboard and clustered all my other plants beneath it. They were happy. Everything grew beautifully, but in April I ordered more nutrients to keep it running until June when our local greenmarket began offering fresh herbs. It allowed me to time the growing season beautifully.

If most of your plants are healthy, by all means use these tablets. They are well worth the cost.

However, if only a few are worth saving, you can carefully remove them and plant in good old dirt. I have had success with both mint and chives lasting on my windowsill.

My ten yr old daughter is very excited about
her 'garden'. however, when she ran out of
nutrients and we went to reorder...to our dismay the product was on backorder.
now her herbs are dying and we are not sure if the 'late' nutrients will bring them back.
wish us luck.

These herb nutrients are very easy to use, and really help extend the life of your herb plants. I am currently using my own seeds, and I ordered these so that I could easily grow some plants. I have experimented with using other nutrients, and there really is no proper substitute for the nutrients. It's well worth the money, and my plants are very happy.

The nutrients worked well to extend the life of my basil, but my parsley and dill both died after the normal life cycle. The nutrient tablets did not work to extend their life. I would say they half worked. I did enjoy the extra few months of basil.

This product keeps the herbs growing two or three times longer. They grow conveniently on my kitchen counter. I must trim them periodically because I have more herb growth than I need for my cooking. I wish I could select a custom set of seed pods rather than buying preselected groups of herbs that only closely match my cooking requirements.

I started my AeroGarden on December 28th. It is now July 14th and I'm getting just as many herbs off of it each week as I did when it first started producing. The herbs can be cut fresh and are right there in the kitchen at my fingertips when I need them. With the nutrients, the plants are full and lush and I am enjoying an extended season. The best is that I can have these fresh herbs all year long, even in the winter. If I had the room in my kitchen I would have another one to grow a set of different herbs.

I cut the herb tops off with scissors right before using them in a recipe. The herbs are fresh, flavorful, green, and alive when added to foods. The only downside is that the herbs sometimes grow too tall and get burned in the AeroGrow's bright light, so I try to remember to keep them clipped if I don't need them immediately.

I'm enjoying the herbs in my aerogarden and the extra nutrient pack has helped extend the life of several of them. Unfortunately the dill and mint seem to be too old to keep producing so the extra nutrients are wasted on them, but my basils and parsley are still going strong!

I use the herbs to save money.
I used to buy them at the store and forget about them and they would go bad.
Now I see them on my counter, fresh, and think of ways to put them into almost everything I cook.
We can't have salt in our diet and I do not like pepper. Herbs have substituted for these in our diets.
